April 24th - Mercury enters Aries

Two days after the new moon Mercury leaves its sign of debilitation, Pisces, and enters sidereal Aries. Mercury represents our intellectual mind. And bold, fiery Aries enhances Mercury’s brilliance. As Mercury meets Uranus and the Sun in sidereal Aries our intellect begins to engage with the task of organizing the logistics of rebirth, revival, and liberation. This is an excellent time to write a plan of your 2020 soulful revolution, but try not to get too entwined with the minutia. Striving for excellence is one thing. Struggling for perfection is another.

Mercury is combust (Sun within 14 degrees). He is set ablaze with increasing intensity until mid-May. Balancing an ardent desire to communicate what you may be feeling at a soul level with  an awareness that articulation of a logical narrative may not be entirely possible during this time. This includes communication with yourself! Heightened sensitivity to the words of others as well as your own thoughts may feel inescapable. Being misunderstood or feeling unheard are very possible now. If these incidents do arise try not to let anxiety, frustration and irritability overwhelm you.

In summary, the prefect plan won’t get you from where you are now to your goal(s) nor will ruminating or vexation. Action is required. Redirect your intellectual mind into spinning a narrative that gets you up and moving toward your goals and not stuck planning and pondering them. If you find this difficult try using your spiritual practice to align with the cosmic current.
