June 2021 | Super Full Moon - Tender is the Flesh
After so much trauma and drama the exhilaration of reunion, warm nights, and long days have arrived. But let us continue to move gently into what’s to come. For we are all just tender flesh and porous bone, with the Truth somewhere in between.

All planetary placements are based on the Sidereal Zodiac with whole sign house system and uses Lahiri Ayanamsha.
This month’s super full moon occurs in one of the tender spots of the zodiac, at the beginning of sidereal Sagittarius. It is a place truth often hides when it knows what it must share will be shunned, scorned, ridiculed and avoided if it’s discovered by states of consciousness that have forgotten that creation and destruction are inextricably linked. The truth this full moon brings will allow us to go beyond superficial limitations, destroy illusions, and get at the root of what’s blocking us from progressing along the path of our soul’s quest in this lifetime. Look beyond the emotions (i.e. fear, anxiety, rage, etc.) holding you back to the core beliefs at their root. As our illusions dissolve, inspiration will fill these tender spots with excitement and illumination again.
Intentions set earlier this month, or whatever you were focused on/hoping for both consciously and subconsciously around the solar eclipse on June 10th, are peaking now. Because full moons are about expressing gratitude and celebrating progress how you feel during this full moon is an indication of how you’re handling uprooting and destroying the personal illusions getting in the way of being fully committed to your soul’s quest. If difficult emotions arise from now until the new moon on July 9th then it might be time to consider how engaged you’ve been in doing the hard work of peacefully initiating or receiving change, loss, and endings – all necessary for progression along our personal paths.
The message coming from today’s full moon will more than likely not be subtle. It’s a super full moon occurring just a few days after the summer solstice. Also, it’s the first full moon since the June 10th solar eclipse. Meaning occurrences over the next couple of weeks offer a sneak peak of what you can expect to be a reoccurring theme for you over the next four and a half years. And with so many planets having recently turned retrograde or direct its only natural to feel a wee bit unstable during this time too. In fact, don’t be surprised if you find yourself gritting your teeth, just a little, until around July 4th. Until this time the moon will transit several retrograde planets and challenging alignments. Reflective turbulence is ahead and will likely be present during the entire second half of this lunar cycle (full moon to new moon).
Speaking of retrograde planets, Mercury has been retrograde since late May. It turned direct on June 22nd reinvigorating our everyday interactions and communication. This change will add a magical pep and delight to our day-to-day travel, tech, and conversations. Mercury retrograde in Sidereal Taurus conjunct Rahu has forced us to reflect on how fulfilled we are intellectually as a representation of our level of spiritual fulfillment. Since Venus transited over Mercury as it initially went retrograde its quite likely fulfillment through unions (business and personal) of pleasure have been the main type of enjoyment and exploration you have been reflecting upon while Mercury was retrograde. Past flames, bad break-up, and old communication conflicts may have surfaced while Mercury was retrograde. As the dust settles and Mercury moves forward new insight on these matters may emerge.
Finally, Neptune and Jupiter both recently turned retrograde in sidereal Aquarius. Skewed beliefs about one’s reality this summer and fall is highly likely. It may be hard to gage for the next few months who and what is genuinely on your side in your personal social circles and society at-large. While these two planets are in retrograde motion you may simultaneously find yourself in a fantastical social daze. Living out your dreams. While enjoying the exhilaration of reuniting with the ones you love this summer, the warm nights, and long days keep in mind that Jupiter is moving back toward re-forming the sidereal Capricorn Satellitium. The same alignment that coincided with the global shut-down and political unrest due to the pandemic.
More change and tumultuousness is on the horizon in the next year for humanity in the same areas we have been reckoning due to this alignment over the past year and a half. But not to worry! There are some spectacular once-in-a-lifetime energetic alignments ahead; especially as we enter the spring of 2022. More to come on this soon. Remaining observant and curious until the last couple of months of 2021 will decrease your chances of jumping to mistaken conclusions as we move through a cosmic gate into a higher octave frequency.
No matter what you’re challenged or blessed with during this super full moon, around July 4th the fireworks of enjoyment will glow and uplift us collectively again. The key to taking advantage of the energy of this demanding full moon is to start facing truths in your tender places. Begin addressing the root of any blocks to your spiritual evolution or ability to nourish your purpose. Especially as it pertains to communication around relationships and your social standing. Don’t cannibalize your future by perpetuating what you already know just isn’t for you.
Focus on fortifying a foundation that will support you and your path over the next 15 years. Uprooting core beliefs that are keeping you from stabilizing a foundation for your future self is an essential first step. Clearing out the old and outdated is the only healthy way to make room for something new to form. Creation requires destruction. This is the glory and horror of the creative force embedded within the destructive nature of today’s full moon. Making the most of it might feel arduous after the collective trauma we’ve already endured, but it will be worth it. And your future self (flesh and bone) may thank you later.
